Alcohol in Baskets

Please note that there are special rules and procedures for adding alcohol to baskets. Here are the two options:

 

  1. The client purchases the alcohol and drops it off to us ahead of time to add to the basket.  No other rules are needed if you purchase the alcohol. (preferably a few days before the basket needs to be ready to go)
  2.  If we purchase the alcohol on your behalf:
    • The BC Government policy rules state that we must follow the rules as a “Delivery Service” if we are to purchase the alcohol on your behalf.  What this means is that the alcohol must be purchased the same day as the basket is made and we have to deliver it for you.  This makes it very challenging when large orders are placed and we are unable to make the baskets until the day of delivery.

    • An extra $10 delivery charge will be applied in order to pick up the alcohol on your behalf as well as the cost of the alcohol on the receipt.  (like a delivery service)  

    • We will also need to collect the name, address & contact information of the recipient and must be delivered to an adult of age.

Flowers will be added on the side. There is an extra $10 charge to pick up the flowers.
